The victim of a homicide on Saturday at 40th and Barber Court has been identified, according to a Kansas City, Kansas, Police Department spokesman.
The victim was Darrin Fry, 18, according to police.
Police officers responded to a shooting call at 40th and Barber Court at 1:20 a.m. Saturday, the spokesman stated.
When they arrived, officers found Fry outside a residence, the victim of an apparent shooting, according to the spokesman. He was pronounced dead at the scene, the spokesman stated. There were no arrests.
The Kansas City, Kansas, Police Department’s Major Case Unit is investigating. Anyone with information on this case is asked to call the TIPS hotline at 816-474-TIPS, according to the spokesman.
