The victim of a fatal shooting at 6:52 p.m. April 6 has been identified as Cedric A. Fields Jr., 25, a resident of Kansas City, Kan.
Kansas City, Kan., police answered a death investigation call at 5th and Quindaro Boulevard on April 6 and found Fields in the street, suffering from a gunshot wound, a spokesman said.
He was taken to a hospital where he later died from his injuries, the police spokesman said.
The police department’s Criminal Investigations Unit is now investigating the case as a homicide, police stated.
