Kansas City, Kan., police have identified the victim of a motorcycle accident at 5:23 p.m. Monday, Oct. 19, at Kaw Drive and South 78th Street.
The victim was Richard K. Roebuck, 68, a resident of Shawnee, Kan., a police spokesman said.
Roebuck was traveling east on Kaw Drive and rear-ended a dump truck, the police spokesman said.
He was dead from his injuries when police arrived, according to the spokesman.
The accident is under investigation by the Kansas City, Kan., Police Department’s Traffic Support Unit-Critical Collision Response Team.
