The victim of a fatal motorcycle accident at 4:39 p.m. Tuesday, March 31, in the 1100 block of North 2nd Street has been identified, according to Kansas City, Kansas, police.
The victim was Bruce McFarland, age 62, of Kansas City, Missouri, a police spokesman stated.
Officers responded to the accident to find a motorcycle with a single driver who had sustained critical injuries, the spokesman stated. He was taken to a hospital, where he later died from his injuries.
The accident is under investigation by the Kansas City, Kansas, Police Department’s Traffic Support – Critical Collision Response Team, the spokesman stated.
