The victim of a fatal accident on Aug. 8 in the 1400 block of North 3rd Street has been identified, according to a Kansas City, Kansas, police spokesman.
The victim was Asai J. Belcher, 24, a resident of Kansas City, Kansas, the spokesman stated.
Belcher was the only person in a four-door Honda that was traveling north on 3rd Street when it left the roadway. She suffered fatal injuries and died at the scene.
The accident is under investigation by the Kansas City, Kansas, Police Department’s Traffic Support Unit. Anyone with information may call the unit at 913-596-3000.
