Kansas City, Kan., police are investigating a homicide about 3:28 p.m. Friday, Oct. 28, in the 200 block of South Valley.
A man in his late 40s was found by officers at the site, according to the police spokesman. He had been injured from multiple gunshot wounds, the police spokesman said.
The victim was taken to a hospital, where he later died from his injuries, according to the spokesman.
His identity will not be released until there is positive identification and family notification, police said.
