Vibrant Health and Children’s Mercy have announced a new clinic location at 4313 State Ave., in Kansas City, Kansas.
Vibrant assumed the operation this week of the Children’s Mercy West Cordell D Meeks Jr. Clinic at that location.
“This expansion is a meaningful step toward our goal of providing access to high-quality, culturally competent health care services in every corner of our community,” said Patrick Sallee, chief executive officer, Vibrant Health. “Our patients will now have a greater choice of providers, services, and locations. This makes getting the health care they need easier than ever.”
This affiliation will result in high-quality integrated primary care for more than 20,000 patients annually, as well as greater access to education resources, outreach, and service offerings, including an on-site pharmacy.
“The health and well-being of children, especially those most vulnerable, is the foundation that guides everything we do,” said Dr. Rob Steele, executive vice president, chief strategy and innovation officer, Children’s Mercy. “Working collaboratively with Vibrant Health, a trusted and proven partner in pediatric care, we are honoring Judge Meeks’ legacy through our aligned missions and extending our reach to even more children and adolescents.”
Vibrant Health was formerly known as Turner House Clinic. It was founded in 1990, and merged with Silver City Health Center and KU Pediatrics Clinic at Children’s Campus Kansas City in 2018.
