A Honda CR-V being pursued by police on I-70 overturned on Wednesday morning, according to the Kansas Highway Patrol.
The Honda was in the exit lane to 38th Street from westbound I-70, being pursued by police, around 8:36 a.m. Wednesday, according to the trooper’s crash log.
The driver drove off the roadway into the grass to avoid police, and then the Honda crossed the entrance ramp from 38th Street from westbound I-70, the report stated.
The Honda struck a raised portion of the roadway, causing it to overturn, according to the trooper’s report.
The driver of the Honda, a 37-year-old Kansas City, Kansas, man, had a possible injury and was taken to a hospital, the report stated. The driver was not wearing a seat belt.
