The Unified Government will kick off its United Way of Wyandotte County campaign at 11:30 a.m. Tuesday, Feb. 14, with a flag-raising ceremony in front of the Wyandotte County Courthouse on 7th Street.
The ceremony will include remarks by public officials. The campaign will go through March 15.
Scheduled are brief remarks by Wyandotte County Sheriff Don Ash, who is the United Way campaign chair in 2017; as well as Mayor Mark Holland, District Attorney Mark Dupree, and United Way campaign officials.
