Two Unified Government planning and zoning groups have scheduled Zoom meetings tonight.
The Board of Zoning Appeals is scheduled to meet at 6 p.m. Monday, followed by the City Planning Commission meeting at 6:30 p.m., or whenever the appeals meeting is complete.
The zoning appeals agenda includes a proposal from Donnelly College for an outdoor sign; a proposal for a second detached garage on Brown Avenue; a proposal to allow an accessory structure at 3500 N. 32nd Terrace; a proposal to pave off-street parking at 517 Splitlog; and a variance on a front-yard setback for a retail store and parking at 1801 State Ave.
On the City Planning Commission agenda:
- A change of zone from single family to planned general industrial district for the Turner Logistics Center for warehouse, distribution and light manufacturing businesses at 915 N. 69th St., NP Turner Industrial.
- Preliminary plat for five lots at 915 N. 69th St. in conjunction with change of czone application and master plan amendment, NP Turner Industrail.
- Master plan amendment from low-density residential and mixed-use, city–wide master plan, to industrial, city-wide master plan, at 915 N. 69th , NP Turner Industrial.
- Special use permit for a car audio installation shop, M&G Elite Car Audio, 1315 State Ave.
- Special use permit for a shipping container at 3500 N. 32nd Terrace.
- Vacation of right-of-way at 9700 Leavenworth Road, east and west of the main entrance, Scannell Properties, (former Woodlands racetrack site).
- Vacation of right-of-way at 9700 Leavenworth Road, main entrance, SP Bennet Lake Development, (former Woodlands racetrack area).
- Preliminary and final plan review revising previously approved drive entry to Tidal Wave Auto Spa car wash at 10762 Parallel Parkway.
