Industrial revenue bonds for the PQ Corporation, a report on The Legends parking garage project and a Unified Government third-quarter investment report are among the items on tonight’s UG committee meeting agendas.
The UG Neighborhood and Community Development Committee will meet at 5 p.m. Monday, Oct. 28, at the fifth-floor meeting room, City Hall, 701 N. 7th St., Kansas City, Kansas.
On the agenda is a Land Bank application at 826 S. 10th St., from Juan Velazquez-Rodriguez, for new construction of a driveway.
Also, an update on the Land Bank rehab program is planned.
Kathryn Erwin, a member of the public, is scheduled to speak about contracts for deeds.
After the NCD meeting, the Economic Development and Finance Committee will be held in the fifth-floor meeting room.
On the EDF agenda is a third-quarter investment report.
Also on the agenda is a resolution of intent to issue industrial revenue bonds not to exceed $100 million for the benefit of PQ Corp. A sales tax exemption is proposed for acquisition, construction, improvements and equipment for the industrial facility expansion at 1700 Kansas Ave., Kansas City, Kansas. The plant makes chemicals used in manufacturing and cleanup.
Also scheduled for the EDF committee is an update on the Legends parking garage and apartment project.
