UG Commission to meet Thursday, June 14

The Unified Government Commission will meet at 7 p.m. Thursday, June 14, at the Commission Chambers, lobby level, City Hall, 701 N. 7th St., Kansas City, Kansas.

On the agenda are an addition to the agreement with Bonner Springs for street and police services to the unincorporated area of Loring; and several Land Bank applications.

Also on the agenda is the nomination of Hank Chamberlain to the Landmarks Commission, submitted by Commissioner Jane Philbrook.

In addition, June is being proclaimed as Healthy Homes Month.

Also scheduled at 5 p.m. Thursday is a special meeting to introduce and present fire chief candidates, with a public meet-and-greet afterward in the lobby.
