The Unified Government Commission will meet at 7 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 15, in the Commission Chambers, lobby level, City Hall, 701 N. 7th St., Kansas City, Kan.
On the agenda for the meeting are some sewer improvements, revisions to the county emergency operations plan, nominations to boards, approval of a master plan ordinance, and Land Bank items.
The agenda includes:
• A resolution authorizing a survey for Grant Elementary Sanitary Sewer Improvements, 1510 N. 4th St.
• A resolution authorizing a survey for the 26th and Grandview emergency sanitary sewer repairs.
• A resolution authorizing a survey for the 2016 storm sewer repair and rehabilitation project and the 2017 sanitary sewer improvements.
• A resolution authorizing a survey of land to be condemned because of a collapse in the 3800 block of North 33rd Terrace.
• Approval of revisions to the Wyandotte County emergency operations plan.
• Appointing delegates to the League of Kansas Municipalities conference.
• The nomination of Therese Reyes-Cummings to the REACH Health Care Foundation’s Community Advisory Committee.
• The nomination of Jay Matlack to the Contract Fairness Board.
• The nomination of Erin Strycka to the 47th and Mission Commission.
• An ordinance on the master plans and master plan amendments.
• Land Bank items:
• Tax foreclosure transfer, 1038 Walker Ave., Rising Star Baptist Church, for parking.
• Land Bank contract sale: 1101 S. 5th St., K & W Land Co.
