A public hearing on the firefighters’ contract is one of the items on Thursday night’s Unified Government Commission agenda.
The Unified Government Commission is scheduled to meet at 7 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 5, at the Commission Chambers, lobby level, City Hall, 701 N. 7th St., Kansas City, Kan.
Also on the planning and zoning consent agenda are these items:

A special session of the UG Commission is scheduled at 5 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 5, to discuss What Works Cities and the Stabilization, Occupation and Revitalization (S.O.A.R.) program.
