The Unified Government budget presentation is scheduled at 5 p.m. Monday, July 13, at the Commission Chambers, lobby level, City Hall, 701 N. 7th St., Kansas City, Kan.
County Administrator Doug Bach will present the 2016 budget. There is not an opportunity for public comment at today’s meeting.
A public hearing on the budget will be held at 5 p.m. Monday, July 27, in the Commission Chambers at City Hall.
Several financial discussions have already taken place this year. Future budget workshops, most in the fifth floor conference room at City Hall, include:
• 5 p.m. Thursday, July 16, budget workshop, fifth floor.
• Monday, July 20, immediately after the Public Works-Administrative Human Services Standing Committee meetings, budget workshop, fifth floor.
• 5 p.m. Thursday, July 23, budget workshop, fifth floor.
• 5 p.m. Monday, July 27, final budget public hearing for UG and CDBG budgets in the Commission Chambers, City Hall.
• Monday, July 27, after the public hearing, budget workshop if needed, Commission Chambers, City Hall.
• 7 p.m. Thursday, July 30, budget adoption, Commission Chambers, City Hall.
