Unified Government Administrator Doug Bach is scheduled to give his annual budget presentation at 5 p.m. Thursday, July 7. According to a meeting notice, the meeting will be held in the Commission Chambers, lobby level, City Hall, 701 N. 7th St., Kansas City, Kan.
A public hearing on the budget has been scheduled following the 5 p.m. standing committee meetings on Monday, July 25, in the Commission Chambers.
After the administrator’s budget recommendations are presented at 5 p.m. July 7, the UG Commission is scheduled to hold a regular meeting at 7 p.m. July 7 in the Commission Chambers.
Among the items on the 7 p.m. agenda are the Kaw River bike-pedestrian bridge grant application, and approval of a collaborative agreement among the UG, Kansas City, Mo., Independence, Mo., Blue Springs, Mo., and Leavenworth, Kan., to work together with the Mid-America Regional Council to submit an assessment of fair housing to the Department of Housing and Urban Development.
