A Honda sport utility vehicle overturned on westbound I-70 at the on-ramp to 78th Street this morning, according to a Kansas Highway Patrol trooper’s report.
One person was injured and one had a possible injury as a result of the crash, according to the report. The accident happened around 8:55 a.m. Jan. 10.
The SUV was westbound on I-70 at the on-ramp to 78th Street when it drifted off the road to the south, striking a Kansas Department of Transportation sign, and then overturning, the trooper’s report stated.
The driver, a 64-year-old man from Kansas City, Kansas, was injured and taken to a hospital. A passenger, a 55-year-old woman from Kansas City, Kansas, had a possible injury and also was taken to a hospital, according to the report.
