Police are searching for two suspects in an aggravated burglary and sexual assault case March 5.
According to a Kansas City, Kan., police spokesman, the incident occurred about 7:15 p.m. March 5 in the 1000 block of Barnett Avenue.
Two suspects may have been posing as bail bondsmen agents, the spokesman said.
The first suspect was about 5-4, 170 pounds, in his 30s, with blond hair and blue eyes, police said. He had a colorful tattoo on the left side of his neck that extends to his chest, according to police. He was wearing all black with a duty belt on and a black shirt with a badge and the word “detective” on it, according to police. He also was wearing a KU hat. Written on the back of the shirt was “Bail bonds” in yellow. The suspect was armed with a black handgun and possibly a taser, police said.
The second suspect, a male in his 30s, had black hair and brown eyes, according to police. His hair was shoulder-length and either curly or braided, police said. He is about 6-foot, 170 pounds, and was wearing jeans and a black jacket, according to police.
The suspects left in a 1980s or 1990s light blue or gray Suburban or Yukon, police said.
