Two officers graduate from law enforcement training

Two law enforcement officers in Wyandotte County graduated recently from the Kansas Law Enforcement Training Center in Yoder, Kansas.

The two were Miranda Lawson and Wesley Winters, patrol officers with the University of Kansas Medical Center Police Department in Kansas City, Kansas.

Students in the class received certificates of course completion from KLETC and Kansas law enforcement certification from the Kansas Commission on Peace Officers’ Standards and Training, the state’s law enforcement licensing authority. The training course fulfills the state’s requirement for law enforcement training.

The center, located near Hutchinson, Kansas, is a division of University of Kansas Professional and Continuing Education.
