Two new popup stores, Made in KC and Go! Calendars, Games and Toys, are opening this season at The Legends Outlets.
Made in KC opened on Thursday, Nov. 17, while Go! Calendars, Games and Toys will open on Monday, Nov. 21, according to a spokesman for The Legends Outlets.
Made in KC has five stores in the Kansas City area, according to the spokesman. It sells a lot of locally made items, such as T-shirts, candles, artwork and jewelry from local designers.
The Made in KC popup store at the Legends, next to Old Navy, will be there through the holidays, according to the spokesman. The Legends is hoping the store will stay after the holidays, also.
The 2,613-square-foot Made in KC store is in Suite Q-119.
The Legends has other locally owned stores such as KC Soda Co., out of Lawrence, Sports Nutz apparel and memorabilia, and Chiusano’s pizzeria, according to the spokesman.
The Go! Calendars store also was at The Legends last year, the spokesman said. It is scheduled to be open through January. The popup store sells affordable calendars, board games and toys. It is located across from Old Navy.
The Go! Calendars store will have 6,931 square feet in Suite T-107.
The Legends also has announced it will not be open on Thanksgiving Day. However, it will have extended holiday hours on other days.
On Friday, Nov. 25, it will be open 6 a.m. to 9 p.m. From Nov. 26 through Dec. 11, it will be open 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. Mondays through Thursdays, 9 a.m. to 10 p.m. Fridays and Saturdays, and 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. Sundays. For more information about holiday hours, visit www.legendsshopping.com.
During the holiday season, The Legends Outlets will offer valet parking on the weekends, based on demand, for $8 per car, near the Yard House.
