Two injuries in I-70 accident

Two injuries were reported in an I-70 accident on Wednesday night in Kansas City, Kansas, according to the Kansas Highway Patrol.

A Toyota Camry was northbound on I-635 about 9:05 p.m. Wednesday when it took the ramp to eastbound I-70, according to the trooper’s report.

The Camry left the roadway, drove through the grass, and crossed the eastbound lanes of I-70 going northbound, the trooper’s report stated.

The Camry was then involved in a collision with a Dodge Caliber.

The driver of the Camry, a 22-year-old resident of Kansas City, Kansas, had no apparent injury, according to the trooper’s report.

The driver of the Caliber, a 41-year-old Independence, Missouri, man, had a possible minor injury and was taken to a hospital in Kansas City, Kansas, the report stated.

A 9-year-old Independence, Missouri, boy who was a passenger in the Caliber had a possible minor injury and was taken to a hospital, according to the trooper’s report.
