A driver lost control on the snowy roadway of I-70 and struck a bridge railing this morning, according to a Kansas Turnpike Authority trooper’s report.
The accident happened at 9:15 a.m. on I-70 west between the 18th Street and Park Drive exits.
A 33-year-old Kansas City, Mo., woman driving a Dodge Durango was injured and taken to the hospital after the accident, according to the trooper’s report.
A 12-year-old girl in the car, a Kansas City, Mo., resident, also was injured, the report stated.
