Kansas City, Kansas, police are investigating a shooting this afternoon in the 9th and Washington area.
According to a police spokesman, an unknown suspect produced a firearm and shot two persons. Some type of verbal disturbance preceded the shooting, police stated.
The victims had non-life-threatening injuries, according to the spokesman.
Detectives are working the case to find suspect information, the spokesman stated.
