Two persons were injured in a shooting at 6:36 p.m. Monday, May 10, at North 51st and Georgia Avenue.
The two victims had apparent gunshot wounds and were taken to a hospital, a Kansas City, Kansas, Police Department spokesman stated. The injuries were non-life-threatening, according to the spokesman.
Officers discovered multiple casings, damaged homes and vehicles at 51st and Georgia, the spokesman stated.
The Kansas City, Kansas, Police Department’s Criminal Investigation Division is investigating. Anyone with information related to the case is encouraged to call the TIPS hotline at 816-474-TIPS (8477), police stated.
