Two persons were injured on eastbound I-70 near 72nd Street at 2:25 a.m. Sunday, May 13.
According to the Kansas Highway Patrol trooper’s report, a Ford F-150 truck was eastbound on I-70 when it struck the center barrier wall near the Turner Diagonal exit.
The driver, a 33-year-old man from Kansas City, Missouri, was injured and taken to a hospital, according to the trooper’s report. He was not wearing a seat belt, according to the report.
A 35-year-old Kansas City, Missouri, woman who was a passenger in the truck also was injured and taken to the hospital, according to the report. She was wearing a seat belt.
