The Kansas City, Kansas, Fire Department responded to two fires during the past 24 hours.
• One fire was reported around 3 a.m. May 29 in the 300 block of North 35th Street, according to fire officials. The house was fully involved, according to early reports, and firefighters entered the building to make an interior attack. The fire was then knocked down.
• Another fire was reported around 8:30 p.m. May 28 in the 1800 block of North 22nd, according to fire officials. The first crews on the scene stated the fire was located outside of the building.
