The Kansas Highway Patrol has released a crash report about an accident on June 8 near northbound I-635 and State Avenue.
According to the trooper’s report, a Ford truck was fleeing Kansas City, Mo., police on northbound I-635 near State Avenue about 1 p.m. The vehicle exited to State Avenue, lost control, went off the road and overturned, according to the trooper’s report.
The driver of the truck, a 20-year-old man from Kansas City, Kansas, had a possible injury and was taken to a hospital, the report stated.
A passenger in the truck, a 25-year-old Bonner Springs man, was injured and taken to a hospital, the report stated.
A third occupant of the truck, a 25-year-old woman, had a possible injury and was taken to a hospital, according to the trooper’s report.
A fourth person in the truck, a 19-year-old Kansas City, Kansas, woman, had a possible injury and was taken to a hospital, the report stated.
The report stated that none of the people in the truck was wearing a safety restraint.
