A Peterbilt diesel truck was westbound on I-70 near I-435 at 12:27 p.m. Sunday, April 4, when it went down an embankment, flipped on its side and came to a rest on a ramp from southbound I-435 to I-70.
The driver, a 39-year-old man from Fort Worth, Texas, had a possible serious injury and was taken to a hospital, according to the trooper’s report.
The trooper’s report stated that the truck traveled off the road to the right, struck a guardrail, then went down an embankment, hit a sign and post, flipped on its side and came to rest on a ramp.
