The National Weather Service has issued a tornado watch for Wyandotte County from 6:10 p.m. Aug. 26 until 10 p.m. Aug. 26.
Leavenworth and Wyandotte counties are included in the tornado watch.
Portions of Platte County, Mo., are under a tornado warning.
Residents are advised to monitor weather conditions through the weather service website, www.weather.gov, or listen to a weather radio.
