The tornado warning has been extended until 8:09 p.m. Tuesday.
The National Weather Service reported multiple tornadoes, including some in Bonner Springs and in the Legends area. The storm is considered extremely dangerous.
Wyandotte County residents are asked to take cover on the lowest floor of a building until 8:09 p.m.
