Torch run

The Law Enforcement Torch Run crossed Parallel Parkway at 77th Street this afternoon on its way to the annual Special Olympics Summer Games, to be held in Maize, Kansas. A series of runs will travel about 1,312 miles throughout the state before the Special Olympics takes place on June 2 in Maize. Today, the torch traveled from Olathe to Kansas City, Kansas.
