Fall temperatures and dry conditions continue this week, according to the National Weather Service forecast.

Today’s high of 80 will be the highest temperature here this week, the weather service said.

The high will drop to near 69 on Wednesday before climbing back into the 70s for the rest of the week, according to the forecast.

Wyandotte County could see a low of 48 tonight, but in the northern part of the area, frost is possible with cooler air moving in Tuesday through Wednesday, the weather service said. Those who have sensitive vegetation should be ready for the possibility of frost Wednesday morning.

Today, it will be sunny, with a high near 80, the weather service said. A calm wind will become north around 6 mph in the afternoon.

Tonight, it will be clear, with a low of 48 and a northeast wind of 7 to 9 mph, according to the weather service.

Wednesday, it will be sunny, with a high near 69 and an east wind of 7 to 9 mph, the weather service said.

Wednesday night, it will be clear, with a low of 44 and an east wind of 5 to 7 mph, according to the weather service.

Thursday, it will be sunny, with a high near 72 and a southeast wind of 5 to 9 mph, the weather service said.
