The wind will be from the north at 6 to 9 mph.
Early Saturday morning, the temperature could fall to as low as 40 in Wyandotte County, while in counties to the north and east, there could be a little frost on the ground, the weather service said.
Saturday’s high will be near 59, the weather service said, with a southeast wind of 5 to 9 mph.
Saturday night, it will be partly cloudy with a low around 45 and a southeast wind of 5 to 8 mph, according to the weather service.
Sunday, expect mostly sunny skies with a high near 69, and a south wind of 5 to 15 mph, gusting as high as 22 mph, according to the weather service.
The weather service said temperatures would climb back to above normal early next week, combining with breezy southerly winds and dry fuels to possibly spark wildfire concerns Monday and Tuesday.
