Tiblow Days is scheduled this weekend in Bonner Springs.
The 36th annual event is sponsored by the Bonner Springs – Edwardsville Area Chamber of Commerce.
It starts on Thursday evening with the City Band Concert and ice cream social at 8:30 p.m. in Kelly Murphy Park. This event is free.
There is also a carnival scheduled from 3 to 11 p.m. Thursday.
Friday, Aug. 26, Tiblow Days events include:
Carnival – 4 to 11 p.m.
Vendor booths –5 to 11 p.m., 2nd Street, from Elm to Cedar and Centennial Park.
Mayor’s banquet – 6 p.m. Tickets at Bonner Springs City Hall or Rotary Club members.
Kobi’s entertainment – 8 to midnight, on Kobi’s deck.
Saturday, Aug. 27
Smokin’ on Oak BBQ competition – all day, judging begins at noon.
Biscuit and gravy breakfast – 6-9 a.m. First Christian Church, 148 N. Nettleton, Bonner Springs.
Tiblow Trot – 7 to 9 a.m.
Car show staging and check in – 8 – 10 a.m., Midwest Bus Lot, 313 E. Front St.
Carnival – 9 a.m. – 11 a.m.
Vendor booths – 9 a.m. – 5 / 11 p.m. Vendor booths, 2nd Street from Elm to Cedar and Centennial Park.
Parade – 9:30 a.m., Lions Park to Nettleton to Oak.
Car show on Cedar Street – 11 a.m. – 2 p.m., awards on the big stage at 2 p.m.
