A severe thunderstorm watch has been issued for Wyandotte County until 9 p.m. Monday, May 6, according to the National Weather Service.
Also included are Johnson and Leavenworth counties in Kansas and Platte County in Missouri.
This storm may include high winds and large hail. Residents should monitor weather warnings.
Wyandotte County also is under a flash flood watch from 7 p.m. May 6 through 1 a.m. May 9, according to the weather service.
