A chain-reaction accident happened at 8:43 a.m. Tuesday, Aug. 25 on I-70 near the 57th Street exit in Kansas City, Kan.
According to the Kansas Turnpike Authority trooper’s report, a Sterling truck struck a Chevrolet Cruze in the rear, and then the Cruze struck a Nissan Rogue.
The driver of the Sterling truck, a 32-year-old man from Union Star, Mo., was not injured, according to the report.
The driver of the Cruze, a 59-year-old woman from Bonner Springs, Kan., had a possible injury, the report stated.
The driver of the Rogue, a 38-year-old Lenexa, Kan., woman, was not injured, according to the report.
