A three-vehicle crash was reported this morning near I-70 and I-435, according to a Kansas Turnpike Authority trooper’s report.
A Mercedes-Benz, a Honda Odyssey and a Nissan Sentra were eastbound on I-70 to the ramp for southbound I-435 about 8:11 a.m. Oct. 26 when the crash happened, the trooper’s report stated.
The Sentra and Odyssey slowed for traffic, the report stated. The Mercedes-Benz struck the Odyssey, which then struck the Sentra, according to the trooper’s report.
The driver of the Sentra, a 29-year-old woman from Tonganoxie, Kan., was injured and taken to the hospital, according to the report.
A 28-year-old Kansas City, Kan., man riding in the Sentra also was injured and taken to the hospital, the report stated. A girl infant passenger who lives in Tonganoxie, Kan., also was injured and taken to the hospital, according to the report.
The driver of the Odyssey, a 52-year-old man from Topeka, Kan., was not injured, the report stated.
Also not injured was a 47-year-old man from Topeka, Kan., driving the Mercedes-Benz, according to the report.
