A three-vehicle accident resulted in an injury at 8:01 a.m. Monday, Jan. 7, on eastbound I-70 near the I-635 exit.
According to the Kansas Highway Patrol trooper’s report, traffic was slowing when a Kia collided with a Mini Cooper, then hit a Mazda 3.
The driver of the Kia, a 28-year-old man from Coal City, Illinois, was not injured, according to the trooper’s report. A 27-year-old woman passenger from Coal City, Illinois, in the Kia, also was not injured, according to the report.
The driver of the Mini Cooper, a 41-year-old Kansas City, Kansas, woman, had a minor injury and was taken to a hospital, according to the trooper’s report.
The driver of the Mazda 3, a 19-year-old Kansas City, Kansas, woman, was not injured, the report stated.
