Three KCK residents injured in Johnson County crash

Three residents of Kansas City, Kan., were injured in a crash at 5:05 p.m. Sept. 15 in Johnson County.

According to the Kansas Highway Patrol trooper’s report, three Kansas City, Kan., residents were in a Toyota Camry on I-435 westbound in Lenexa when it ran into the back of a GMC Sierra. The Sierra had slowed for traffic.

Those who were injured in the Camry included the driver, a 70-year-old woman; a 39-year-old woman passenger; and a 17-year-old woman passenger. All were from Kansas City, Kan., the report stated.

The driver of the Sierra, a 21-year-old man from Linwood, Kan., was also injured, according to the report.
