Temperature drops today

The temperature dropped today, as a cold front moved into the area, and today’s high will be near 38, according to the National Weather Service.

The temperature was 37 at 8 a.m., and is about 17 degrees cooler than Tuesday.

While snow is in the forecast for the St. Joseph, Mo., area, it will remain dry in the Kansas City area today, according to the weather service.

Winds will be from the west northwest today at 10 to 17 mph, gusting as high as 26 mph, the weather service said.

Tonight, the low will be around 26. Winds tonight will be from the northwest at 9 to 14 mph, gusting to 20 mph, according to the weather service.

On Thursday, it will be partly sunny with a high near 36, the weather service said. A northwest wind will be 8 to 11 mph.

Thursday night, the low will be around 23 with partly cloudy skies, according to the weather service. A west northwest wind will be 8 to 11 mph.

Friday, it will be sunny with a high near 38, the weather service said. A west northwest wind of 8 to 13 mph will gust as high as 22 mph.

Friday night, it will be mostly clear with a low of 26, according to the weather service.

Saturday, the high will be near 41 with mostly sunny skies, the weather service said.

Saturday night, the low will be around 28 with mostly cloudy skies, according to the weather service.

Sunday, it will be mostly sunny with a high of 42, the weather service said.

Sunday night, skies will be mostly clear with a low of 25, according to the weather service.

Monday, it will be sunny with a high of 47, the weather service said.
