A homicide in the 200 block of South 14th Street on Saturday night is under investigation by detectives, according to a Kansas City, Kansas, police spokesman.
At about 10:30 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 29, officers were sent to the 200 block of South 14th on a shooting, the spokesman stated.
When they arrived, officers discovered a juvenile male in his early teens inside the home, the victim of apparent gunfire, according to the spokesman.
Paramedics pronounced the victim dead at the scene, the spokesman stated.
This incident is currently under investigation by the Kansas City, Kansas, Police Department’s Major Case Unit.
