There will be free admission for veterans and active-duty military Thursday to Sunday at the National WWI Museum and Memorial in Kansas City, Missouri.
General admission for the public is half-price.
The annual Veterans Day ceremony will be at 10 a.m. Thursday, Nov. 11. Musical performances by Ben Gulley and Vanessa Thomas are included. The ceremony is free to the public.
At noon Thursday, a Cars 4Heroes ceremony will be held, with 13 cars being presented to veterans.
A November Salute Ribbon Cutting will be held at 1 p.m. Thursday at the museum corridor. It celebrates a commemorative photo mosaic art installation honoring the service and sacrifice of veterans.
The Walk of Honor Dedication Ceremony will be at 2 p.m. Thursday at the auditorium and lobby of the museum. New granite bricks will be dedicated during a special ceremony. The ceremony is free to the public.
