Nice weather is in store for Wyandotte County today, with sunny skies and a high of 83, according to the National Weather Service.

Temperatures will warm up on Saturday, Sunday and Monday, before a cold front moves in on Monday night, the weather service said.

There will be a chance of thunderstorms on Monday night and Tuesday, followed by autumn-like weather and highs in the 60s, according to the weather service.

Today, it will be sunny, with a high near 83 and a light and variable wind, the weather service said.

Tonight, it will be clear, with a low of 64 and a south southeast wind of 6 mph, according to the weather service.

Saturday, it will be sunny, with a high near 91 and a heat index value as high as 95, the weather service said. There will be a southwest wind of 5 to 8 mph.

Saturday night, it will be mostly clear, with a low of 71 and a south wind of 6 to 10 mph, according to the weather service.

Sunday, it will be sunny, with a high near 92 and a south southwest wind of 10 to 17 mph, gusting as high as 30 mph, the weather service said.

Today’s temperatures will reach a high of mid-80s, according to the National Weather Service forecast.

A dense fog this morning was lifting by 9 a.m. and was not expected to affect the weather for the rest of the day.

Highs in the mid-80s will continue through Friday, the weather service said. The Labor Day weekend forecast is 87 degrees for Saturday, 89 for Sunday and 78 for Monday, Labor Day. There will be a chance of rain on Monday night.

The cold front moving into the area on Labor Day might herald a change to autumn temperatures in the 60s and 70s.

Severe weather is not expected with this activity, but periods of moderate to heavy rain could cause some minor flooding, the weather service said.
