Temperatures will warm up to a high near 62 today, according to the National Weather Service.

Dry and warmer temperatures will continue through Saturday, with the weather turning colder on Saturday night, the weather service said.

Another warmup will begin on Monday, according to the weather service.

A light rain today should move out of the area by the afternoon, and temperatures will remain chilly, rising only to a high near 47, according to the National Weather Service.

Gusty northerly winds today will range from 13 to 16 mph, gusting up to 32 mph, according to the weather service.

There will be dry weather for the rest of the week and into the weekend, with mostly pleasant conditions, the weather service said. Temperatures will rise into the 50s on Friday.

A new cold front will arrive Saturday night and temperatures will be in the 40s on Sunday, according to the weather service.

Temperatures will rise to 55 on Monday, and to 64 on Tuesday, Election Day, the weather service said.

Wyandotte County may receive a tenth to a quarter-inch of rain on Wednesday and Thursday, according to the weather service.

Rain is expected to move out of the area by Thursday afternoon, the weather service said.

On Friday, temperatures will rise to the 50s, and on Saturday, into the 60s, according to the weather service.

A cold front will move through the area Saturday evening, with dry and cold air behind the front. Sunday’s highs will be in the 40s to 50s, the weather service said.

Temperatures will rise into the low 60s on Tuesday, Election Day, with sunny skies, according to the weather service.

Today, there is a 20 percent chance of showers after 2 p.m., with a high near 47, the weather service said. A calm wind will become north around 5 mph in the afternoon.
