Strong storms will be possible tonight and Tuesday, according to the National Weather Service.

Wind gusts could reach 30 mph today, the weather service said. Between a quarter and half-inch of rain is possible tonight, with another quarter-inch possible on Tuesday.

This will be the last warm and windy day for a while, as a cold front moves in.

After rain moves in tonight and Tuesday, the high temperatures will be in the 50s for the rest of the week, according to the weather service. The nighttime temperatures will drop to a low of 33.

Today, it will be partly sunny, with a high near 74 and a south wind of 16 to 18 mph, gusting as high as 30 mph.

Tonight, there is an 80 percent chance of rain and thunderstorms, then rain and possibly a thunderstorm after 2 a.m., according to the weather service. The low will be around 46 with a south wind of 11 to 15 mph, gusting to 24 mph. Between a quarter and half-inch of rain is possible.

Tuesday, there is a 70 percent chance of rain, mainly before 9 a.m., the weather service said. Temperatures will be falling during the day to around 45 by 5 p.m. A west northwest wind of 10 to 16 mph will gust as high as 25 mph. Between a tenth and quarter-inch of rain is possible.

Tuesday night, it will be mostly clear, with a low of 33 and a west northwest wind of 5 to 8 mph, becoming calm in the evening.

Wednesday, Veterans Day, it will be sunny with a high near 57 and a calm wind becoming south around 5 mph, the weather service said.
