UG property tax statements delayed by mail production issues

UG property tax statements went out a little late because of mail production issues, and some residents are receiving them today. The property tax statements are due Dec. 20, with no grace period planned. Those who have not received their statements may access them online or call to get information, with options listed below.

The Unified Government announced today that property tax statements have been delayed by mail production issues.

Property taxes will still be due on Dec. 20, a UG spokesman stated, with no grace period planned.

All statements have now been mailed out by Wednesday, Nov. 30, according to the spokesman, and should arrive in a few days if they have not arrived already.

The statements should arrive, but if residents have not received them, they can go online to access the information, call a phone number or call the information number listed on an alert, the spokesman stated. All the same information may be accessed through email and phone number, and residents also may come in person to get the same information.

The statements were prepared to be mailed Nov. 18, according to the spokesman, and email communication was prepared from myWyCo outlining tax statement information.

The UG has outlined a few options to access the statement and payment information, including:

• Call 913-573-2821 to request the amount due and pay taxes online via myWyCo.wycokck.org;
• Visit our office (710 N 7th St, Suite 240) KCK, where citizens can get a copy of their statement and make a payment;
• Request an email statement via [email protected]; or,
• Request a duplicate copy be mailed by calling 913-573-2821.
