The Bethel Neighborhood Center kicked-off a capital campaign last year and recently announced that in just one year, more than $1 million in cash and pledges has been raised from less than 130 donors.
Bethel is halfway to raising the necessary funds needed to expand the center to serve more families in need. The $2 million building and program expansion campaign was officially launched in July 2014.
The purpose of the campaign is to renovate and expand the campus ($1.8 million) and add needed services ($200,000) to children, their families, seniors and other underserved individuals in the immediate community.
Enterprise Bank and Trust recently supported The Bethel Neighborhood Center by contributing to the organization’s campaign with a $10,000 donation. Its donation will be used to for the expansion and improvement of the community garden.
The Enterprise Bank and Trust team from its Kansas City, Kan., location presented The Bethel Neighborhood Center with a check.
