The Kansas City T-Bones are playing the Wichita Wings at 7:05 p.m. tonight, May 12, at an exhibition game CommunityAmerica Ballpark in Kansas City, Kan.
The T-Bones open the season in regular play at 7:05 p.m. Friday, May 22, against the Lincoln Saltdogs in KCK.
This week’s exhibition games in Kansas City, Kan., will include Wednesday, May 13, Lincoln; Thursday, May 14, Joplin; Friday, May 15, through Sunday, May 17, Winnipeg.
During the 50-game regular-season schedule at CommunityAmerica Ballpark, the T-Bones will play host to each American Association team at least once, including the Joplin Blasters, the league’s newest team, which will be in Kansas City Aug. 5-7 and Aug. 21-23.
Joplin is one of three teams that will make two trips to CommunityAmericaBallpark, along with Amarillo and Fargo-Moorhead.
The longest homestand of the 2015 season is eight games, which is scheduled twice. In the first one, July 19-26, the T-Bones are scheduled to face Gary SouthShore for four games, followed by Winnipeg for four games.
The second is the final homestand of 2015, Aug. 27-Sept. 3, when St. Paul will be in Kansas City for an extended weekend series and then Laredo for the last four home games of the season.
