T-Bones fall 8-2 to Sioux City in third playoff game

The Kansas City T-Bones fell 8-2 Saturday night to the Sioux City Explorers in game three of the South Division playoff series.

Sioux City now leads the series, 2-1.

It’s a best-of-five series that continues at 5:05 p.m. Sunday at JustBats Field at T-Bones Stadium in Kansas City, Kansas.

With a win Sunday, Sioux City would win the division title and eliminate the T-Bones. A win for the T-Bones would tie the series at 2-2 and result in a deciding game Monday.

The T-Bones got six hits and left 13 runners on base during the night. The Explorers got 14 hits, but also made three errors.
