A sport utility vehicle that was westbound on the ramp to 38th Street from I-635 overturned about 4:15 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 23, according to a Kansas Highway Patrol report.
The accident was near westbound I-70 at 38th Street, the report stated.
The driver lost control, left the roadway, went into the ditch and the vehicle overturned, according to the trooper’s report. The vehicle then came to rest on its wheels.
The driver of the Chevy SUV was a 34-year-old man from Kansas City, Missouri, according to the trooper’s report. He was injured and taken to the hospital.
A 34-year-old Kansas City, Missouri, woman in the SUV also was injured and taken to the hospital, the report stated.
